Handmade Suits – Rafael

Thousands of migrants come to South Africa looking for a piece of the African Dream. They are drawn by Johannesburg which boasts the largest economy of any city on the continent. This is a video I did for my friend Kipp Krusa, an amazing guitar maker in Bon Aqua, Tennessee. The music was written and performed by James Scott on a Baritone Krusa Guitar. Shot on a Canon 60D. Lenses: Nikon: 24mm f2.8 non-Ai, 35mm f2 Ai, 50mm f1.4 Ai, Canon: 100mm f2.8 Macro L IS USM I used the Technicolor Cinestyle Picture Style and finalized it with the Technicolor LUT but only set the Mix to 50%.

Sean Woolsey

Sean Woolsey is a gracious blend of warmth and intensity. His wide grin and embrace are infectious. His inventive stride and ambition inspire. Woolsey comes to his craft with equal levels of commitment and acceptance. He is not intimidated by the mis-shapen. He is not put off by the imperfect. He shapes each component with forgiveness and focus. He washes each piece with patience and care. Working with the natural contours of raw materials. Letting texture and weight sing for themselves. Woolsey bends, secures, and balances each original fixture. Hand-crafted…

Barbour Wax Jackets

What does your jacket say about you? Crafted to last a lifetime, Barbour wax jackets see their owners through thick and thin. This film is an intimate portrait of the relationship between Barbour and its customers seen through the Customer Services Dept at South Shields who, like surgeons, bring them back to life. Wood sunglasses Shwood for Pendleton

For Autumn/Winter 2011, Shwood has joined forces with fellow Oregon-based company Pendleton Woolen Mills on a limited run of Shwood’s “Canby” frame style. Crafted from Oregon-grown Cherry wood, the frames feature laser engraved temples adorned with Pendleton’s iconic “Chief Joseph” pattern. Taking the collaboration a step further, Pendleton manufactured a matching carrying pouch woven from a limited batch of wool, exclusive to the project. With both parties dedicated to domestic manufacturing, the project pays tribute to the state of Oregon and the heritage manufacturing techniques that make the products great.…
